Bernaville Nurseries have been announced as the winner of the Destination Garden Centre of the year, awarded by the Garden Centre Association.
The Garden Centre Association represents leading Garden Centres in the United Kingdom and Northern Ireland. At one of the select Garden Centres which have achieved ‘Approved Member’ status, customers are assured of a high level of service, a good range of plants and assured of excellent levels of service, plants of quality and associated products, together with innovative life-style displays, professional advice and information. To assure that high standards are maintained each garden centre is inspected annually.
It is after this annual inspection that Bernaville Nurseries was awarded the accolade of Garden Centre of the year for the Wales and West region. Bernaville is a family run, independent business located on the edge of Exeter. Established 60 years ago by the Jackson family. There are now three generations of the family working within the business, dedicated to providing excellent service and quality. A success story borne out of hard work and determination, over the years the traditional nursery has evolved into a comprehensive garden centre but is still committed to growing a wide selection of exceptional quality plants.
The garden centre now includes a large furniture (indoor & outdoor) showroom, a comprehensive pet centre, a huge selection of gifts and interior decorations, a clothing department and a cafe & restaurant.
