Bernaville Nurseries Raises £373.25 for RNLI
Bernaville Nurseries, located just outside of Exeter, has once again demonstrated its commitment to community and philanthropy by raising £373.25 in support of the Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI). The successful fundraising took place over the course of April and May, with both staff and customers enthusiastically participating to support the vital work of the RNLI.
The RNLI is a charity that saves lives at sea through its dedicated volunteer lifeboat crews and lifeguards. As a charity that relies heavily on donations, the funds raised by Bernaville Nurseries will contribute significantly to the ongoing training, equipment, and operational costs needed to keep their life-saving services running. These efforts are particularly important as the summer season approaches, bringing with it an increase in coastal activities and potential hazards.
“We are thrilled to have raised such a substantial amount for the RNLI,” said Simon Heard, General Manager at Bernaville Nurseries. “Our customers have always been incredibly supportive of our charitable efforts, and this fundraiser was no exception. We’re proud to contribute to an organisation that plays such a critical role in saving lives and promoting safety around our coastlines.”
The success of Bernaville Nurseries’ fundraiser is a testament to the power of community spirit and the impact that local businesses can have in supporting important causes. As they continue to nurture their customers homes and gardens, Bernaville Nurseries also cultivates a culture of generosity and social responsibility, making a difference both locally and beyond.
