Bernaville Nurseries website does use both analytical, performance and functionality cookies. These are used to help improve our website and gain insight into the browsing habits of our customers.

Wifi is available on site in both the Lily Pond Restaurant and Mezzanine Cafe. If you wish to access this service then you will be asked to provide some information. This is used by Bernaville Nurseries to help with marketing. The information that you provide will be stored by Bernaville Nurseries and is not sold to third parties.

E-Newsletters

We send out e-news periodically throughout each month. When you sign up for these through our wifi sign on service, website or in store, you are providing consent to receive marketing emails and market research by email. We currently use a software platform called Stampede to send out our newsletters. You can find their privacy policy here. The data that is stored within this software is used strictly regarding marketing for Bernaville Nurseries. We do not sell or hire our customers information to other companies under any circumstances.

You can stop receiving marketing emails and communication from Bernaville Nurseries in the following ways:

  • Click the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any marketing email you receive from us.
  • Use the contact us form via our website.

Gold Card

Bernaville Nurseries has a loyalty card scheme which is called a Gold Card. This Gold Card enables customers to take advantage of exclusive special offers, events and discounts. When someone signs up to this card, we require certain information to be able to send these offers. These include:

  • Email Address
  • Postal Address

This information is input into a digital platform and any physical sign up forms are then shredded to keep customers information secure.

Job Applications

When someone applies for a job at Bernaville Nurseries whether successful or not we will keep their Curriculum Vitae on file for one year and this information is kept confidential whether digital or paper document. This is so that if a similar position becomes available then we may wish to contact the applicant regarding this opening.

Online or Telephone Order

When you make an online order on the Bernaville Nurseries website you will be asked to provide personal data. This information is used to process the order only. Whether this is online or by telephone, we are required by HMRC to keep these details for seven years for accounting purposes.

When you place an order with Bernaville Nurseries over the phone or online for delivery/collection, certain details are required to process the transaction. These are both financial information and personal details for delivery. They include:

We use Paypal to process our online orders. This is an encrypted payment service which does not save your payment details when you make a payment through it. Bernaville Nurseries will only be able to access the delivery information provided, in order to process the transaction.

Should you choose to enter one of our competitions or give aways, we may collect personal data including:

We will use this information to contact you should you win a competition or give away. We will never ask you for bank details or other personal information.
